Registered with the state of Texas
             I have completed the process with the
             State of Texas Department of Family
             Services of becoming a Registered child
             care provider, which includes being
             regularly inspected by agents of the state
             for home and child safety and to ensure
             that all state minimum standards are met
             for child care.
CPR/First Aid
             I am required to keep a current CPR and
             first aid certification. My current
             certification is through the American Heart
             Association.
Low care taker to child ratio
             I stay below minimum state requirements
             for child to care taker to provide a more
             personal environment for the children. I
             prefer this as it allows me to focus more on
             the care of the child rather than the
             numbers of them
20 PLUS HOURS OF TRAINING EACH YEAR
             The state requires that I take 20 hours of
             training in child care each year. I exceed
             this yearly as I feel the more training you
             have in new procedures the better I can
             care for others.
